“the song of the mad god” is a story written by the Madrigal Brothers. It is a ghost story set in Medieval Ages. Created and filmed only in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, with an all-Hispanic cast and crew!
The defeated, Lord Gabriel, seeks to unravel the mysteries surrounding his wife’s death. He is haunted not only by the horror of her sudden passing, but by a phantom of her visage, which seems bent on destroying him. The lord must seek out the aid of a witch, whose medicine is said to cure such powerful curses, erase painful memories and banish ghosts. But in using her magic, the lord is beset by the demons of his past, who grasp at his soul, pulling him down to hell for eternity…

Roman Madrigal “Sixtum” founded his media company, Sixtum Pictures, in 2014, and has since grown it from a single camera operation to a large eight-person crew which handles large event coverage. He has used his experience in photography and videography to better his abilities and fund his first passion of filmmaking. Roman has acted in stage plays, written feature film scripts, directed several short films and been camera operator on a feature.
Jude Madrigal is an actor, screenwriter and director. He has played lead roles in many short films, written and produced feature films and television pilots.
Jude and Roman have worked together since childhood on scripts and films, making them an inseparable duo. They have so many ideas and concepts they want to share, and a ton of films to create. The horizon is bright and they are excited to bring you along for the ride!

This film has been quite a journey to create. There were innumerable challenges along the way, which can always be expected when working with a small budget and team. Dispute the rocky road, we powered through and emerged with some truly incredible footage.
